A note on care
Slats want little more than regular dusting: tilt them closed one way and run a soft cloth or the vacuum's brush over the face, then tilt the other way for the reverse. Kitchen film and bathroom spots lift with a damp cloth and a drop of washing-up liquid, and the matte finish is forgiving between cleans - it shows fingerprints far less than a gloss slat does. Work along the slats rather than pressing down on them, since a creased slat stays creased.
